Michael Miner

Chief Appraiser

Mike joined Martin, Goodrich & Waddell, Inc. in December of 2010 as an Appraiser. He is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and is working towards his Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License. Mike has over 18 years of appraisal and appraisal review experience, working in both farmland and commercial appraisals.

Before joining MGW, Mike was Chief Appraiser and Environmental Risk Officer for EFS Bank from 1994 to 2006, as well as a Review Appraiser and Environmental Reviewer for the Commercial Loans Division of Castle Bank from 2007 to 2009. Most recently, Mike has been working as an Independent Appraisal Review Consultant and as a Staff Appraiser for Krueger Appraisal Services, Inc. Mike’s appraisal experiences include: farmland, apartments buildings, camp grounds, subdivisions, and office, retail, and industrial buildings.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from Northern Illinois University and an Associate of Business degree from Kishwaukee College.

During college and after graduation, Mike worked for Del Monte Foods in their Farms Division in DeKalb, IL and later in the Del Monte Foods can plant facility in Rochelle, IL.

Mike currently resides in Sycamore with his wife Chris, and together they have 3 children (David, Justin and Rachel) and two grandchildren (Jordyn and Ethan). Mike is a licensed private pilot and enjoys boating, fishing and hunting.
